Comment:

 Tested on os205.

  * insert USB stick with PDF file on it, start new Read activity, choose
 USB stick icon from chooser, choose file; result is
   * file is properly displayed by the existing instance of Read activity,
 and;
   * the created journal entry does not contain the content of the PDF,
  * insert USB stick with PDF file on it, view Journal, choose USB stick
 icon from base of Journal, choose file, result is
   * file is properly displayed in new instance of Read activity, and;
   * the created journal entry matches the file name from the USB stick and
 contains the content of the PDF.
 Both results are adequate.  Closing.
