 Retested, findings:

  * when battery needs charging, the frame status is consistent with
 battery LED, within three seconds,
  * when battery does not need charging, the frame status is inconsistent
 with battery LED.

 Test when battery needs charging:

  * frame said "My Battery" "Charged" "97%",
  * removing external DC cable, battery LED turned off, frame did not
 change,
  * after a few minutes, frame changed to "2:42 remaining" "96%",
  * inserting external DC cable, battery LED turned on (green), frame did
 not change,
  * after a few minutes, frame had not changed,
  * restarted Sugar,
  * frame continues to show "2:42 remaining" "96%".

 Test when battery does not need charging:

  * frame said "Charging" "93%",
  * removing external DC cable, battery LED turned off, frame changed to
 "2:37 remaining" "93%",
  * inserting external DC cable, battery LED turned on (orange), and frame
 changed to "Charging" "93%".

 Tested on XO-1.5 C1, Q3A36, Q3A36a, os118, os119.
