 Yes it does help. It also increases the size of the Menu Bar at the top of
 the Home Screen. At value 2 the Menu Bar is larger then the frame at 1.5
 it is still the Menu bar is the same width. I've set it at 1.5 and will
 see what our Arabic intern thinks about it.
