Speak 11 as supplied on a fresh copy-nand install of os802b5 from ~martin
has a "robot" button which breaks speaking when clicked. The mouse pointer
changes too a spinning wheel pointer The eyes follow the cursor and look
straight ahead when you press enter, but speaking doesn't work. The eye
 number control works.

It also drops a lot of information into it's log (I'm not sure if this was
in response to clicking robot, or happened before). The log is attached.

Stopping and starting speak restores normal function.

It might be running out of memory? No other activities are running, and
everything is somewhat sluggish until you stop speak. Top reports speak is
using 50% of the memory, resident size 112MB.
