 I observed the problem this morning with a B1 that wad brought.

 Interestingly, it doesn't seem to happen on a B2, using the same SD card
 that was having problems on the B1.

 The B1 worked when I single-stepped through wait-dma-done instead of just
 letting it run full-speed.
