 In one (F11) XO, clicked in Frame on 'Create new wireless network'.  That
 assigned IP 10.42.43.1.  The network (with an ESSID identifying the
 originating XO) showed up in Neighborhood View.

 Booted XO-1.5.  The "private" network from the first XO showed up as an
 icon in Neighborhood View.  I clicked on that icon, and the XO-1.5 joined
 that network -- but was *also* assigned IP 10.42.43.1.
