 earlier this evening, having seen the problem wad was having on his units,
 i did a fresh
 install of os42 on my B3 (also q3a16), and could not reproduce this
 problem.  (the lockup --
 i didn't try suspending from OFW.)

 wad -- have you tried a full drop-the-battery power cycle?
