Comment:

 Ooh.  This looks like a fun grab bag bug.

 The problem initially reported was due to not resetting the EC (full power
 cycle), if the firmware had just been upgraded to q3a15b.

 Quozl seems to be describing at least one additional bug, but without
 enough information on versions to determine what was happening.

 Reassigning to OFW, as between it and the EC they configure the
 keyboard/touchpad.
