 This has become a noticeable problem for me - it happens quite often when
 I reboot the XO-1.5.  My usual bypass is ctl-alt-erase (to restart Sugar).
 That usually results in a "normal" Neighborhood View.

 I have also experienced this (Neighborhood View blank) problem with a
 recent XO-1 build.
