Comment:

 Triage.

 Reproduced with os40 on two test units.  Three different results were
 captured:

  * two or more blocks of text lines overwrote the shutdown screen.
  * an underline text cursor was visible on the shutdown screen.
  * normal expected shutdown screen image.
