Comment:

 At the moment we are only going to support connectivity to ad-hoc networks
 where peers that you want to talk to use link-local RFC3927 IP addressing.
 This means that we do not have compatibility with current F11-for-XO-1
 builds, and we are not compatible with any other ad-hoc network peers
 where RFC3927 addressing is not in use. Sorry.

 In terms of changing network addressing behaviour, you should file a bug
 at sugarlabs bug tracker. Our XO-1.5 builds reflect the behaviour of the
 latest sugar and we'll aim to remain this way.

 And as a sidenote, presumably the next F11-for-XO1 build will rebase on
 all of our recent XO-1.5 OS work and will not have this problem.
