Comment(by mikus):

 For predictability, average users of the developer's key could benefit
 from documentation that explained that '/security/develop.sig' needed to
 be placed in the first partition of a removable storage device.

 The message "Error: Unknown file system", if not expected (and
 unexplained), might disturb the "ease of use" of users who happened to
 press the 'check' key when booting.
