 That setup still used olpc-dm though, which was a mess. I think we still
 need some kind of equivalent (which we could make less messy). We have to
 open a PAM session that is related to the X session, its is needed for
 various bits to work right including HAL, ConsoleKit, PolicyKit, etc.
