 I'm not sure I understand the reason for needing a DM yet -- Scott's xfce-
 control just wrote out an ~/.xsession-xfce whenever you stated you wanted
 to run XFCE instead, and then /home/olpc/.Xsession looked for the presence
 of that file when deciding what to run.  No extra binaries needed.
