 chunks are zlib-compressed

 <cjb> ok.  so we'd need to work out how to compress one <unit> at a time
 separately, and write out a spec file that matches that data, and OFW
 could do the rest

 full .zip image

 <Mitch_Bradley> .zip headers are rather efficient

 break the image into chunks, then run each chunk through the encoder, then
 concatenate
