Comment:

 I'll close this as a duplicate of #9204.

 For a while there (Joyride-2613 through Joyride-2625 <perhaps through
 Joyride-2629>) external storage devices *did* get auto-mounted.  With the
 latest (mid-January) sucrose packages applied, external storage devices
 again fail to be auto-mounted.
