 I did $ sudo olpc-update candidate-800
from build 767 (old firmware was Q2E18).
 (It took about 30 minutes.)

After restart into candidate-800, I could no longer connect to my wlan AP,
which is a Linksys WRT54G using WPA with a password. The XO asks for the
password, tries to connect, fails, asks again for password, fails to
connect, repeat. I did give it the password several times, and rebooted a
 few times too.

I reverted to build 767 using gamepad 'O' during reboot, and successfully
reconnected to my AP after entering the password. So I conclude there is
a bug in candidate-800. My firmware is now at Q2E30.
