 Not sure if this is related to #9222 or #9223 - when trying to connect to
 a WPA-PSK or WEP AP the circle just sits there and pulsates without asking
 for a password. It did this on a slightly earlier version (2635?) as well.
 Unencrypted access works fine. A telling line in /var/log/messages in both
 cases says:

 myssid'  requires no security. No secrets needed.
