Comment:

 Given Scott's +1, this is ready for packaging.

 Daniel, I suggest just patching the files in-place and repacking the
 initrd archive afterwards, for the moment, and I'll work on getting a
 Debian VM available to properly rebuild the initrd.

 Since this is the last bug we know we need to fix, we can make our first
 candidate build once this packaging's done.
