 Looks like an underlying squeak problem to me. Etoys shows the same
 symptoms. To reproduce:

  * Start Etoys
  * Click on Supplies -> Object Catalog -> Multimedia -> PianoKeyboard
  * Press any key on the keyboard for a long time
