 re: ps/2 power:  the issue with powering down the ps/2 controller is with
 redetecting the keyboard correctly after resume.  we've seen that's not a
 foolproof process, so we shouldn't power down lightly.

 re: the 5 minute timeout -- i think it's releaseable as is.   but i'm
 becoming more convinced that the right answer from a user experience POV
 involves letting the keyboard wake us from the screen-blanked state.  but
 since i think power-button sleeps should behave the same way, this is a
 big step that we should implement and try for a while before releasing it.
 for instance, we'd want to put extra effort into making sure that we never
 ever wake or boot into a lid-closed state without immediately going to
 sleep.
