 Deepak, found something that might help you:

 With the latest kernel patch which makes the wireless device be powered
 down during suspend if WOL is disabled, the kernel actually thinks that
 the card has been physically ejected during suspend (it says so in the
 logs) and then reconnected on resume.

 Chris points out that this is because the SD stack knows to interpret
 -ENOSYS from a suspend call as a reason to make the card appear ejected.

 Given that we're basically trying to persuade the kernel that we've
 ejected/reinserted the card, looking at the above codepath might give some
 useful clues.
