 for [http://dev.laptop.org/attachment/ticket/7825/dmesg.failassoc this
 dmesg output] an attempt was made via GUI. After some time the association
 was not completed and another AP started blinking. Curiously:

 - the dmesg do not register the command 0x0050.

 - the three "libertas assoc: Association Request:" blocks bring bogus
 info.

 - no association frame was captured by a monitoring station.

 It seems that the clicking didn't result in an actual (command 0x50 and
 association request frame) attempt to connect.
