 Brief testing with
 http://dev.laptop.org/~dilinger/testing/kernel-2.6.25-20080923.3.olpc.f10b654367d7065.i586.rpm

 - Association  with wpa_supplicant (CLI), with no NetworkManger running
 succeeds for both wpa test aps. (3 tests with each, all successful)
 - Association via GUI fails most of the times. I'll attach a dmesg output.
