Comment:

 This bug is a result of trying to announce and inspect the capabilities of
 peers via Telepathy, which is supported by 'gabble', but not by 'salut'.

 In order to avoid this problem, it is necessery to point your XO at a
 jabber server, such as xochat.org.

 There's some discussion about if capabilities make sense at all - we
 should be using the activity invite semantics to start video
 conversations, instead of using the jabber server's shared roster to see
 who is currently running the application. See ticket #6301.
