Comment:

 Okay, there are two problems here:

  * a failed attempt to XOpenDisplay() leaks Unix sockets inside xtrans.
 Ajax says this sounds like an xtrans bug.  :(
  * apparently we're also leaking when we exec() ourselves due to X dying,
 but only 2 sockets per x-death.
