 I just created a clean build and did not have the problem. I created a new
 directory, pulled down the git sources, ran "sugar-jhbuild update," ran
 "sugar-jhbuild build," and the journal loaded fine when I ran jhbuild.

 I didn't delete the old build so the .sugar files in my home directory
 were still around. Thus the journal loaded up with a list of my past
 activities from the previous build.
