Comment:

 I think #3366 is basically a duplicate of this ticket, since it covers a
 way to reveal the absolute date for items in the Journal list (and
 potentially a way to toggle absolute and relative displays).  The design
 for the detail view of the Journal also has a section for the date and
 other file properties, which has always been intended to be shown in
 absolute format (see http://wiki.laptop.org/go/Designs/Journal#12).  This
 section hasn't been implemented yet, but should be for 9.1.
