Comment:

 The emblem is actually "missing" by design.  The icon system in the Frame
 uses color to indicate when something is present/active and white to
 indicate absence/inactivity.  Thus, the battery icon is colored when it is
 actively being used (discharging), and white when AC power is doing the
 work, allowing the battery itself to charge.
