Comment:

 This bug does not occur in 757, when running write all by itself and using
 Keep. I also inserted a USB stick with lots of activities on it; then
 opened some docs and did some keeps... no crashes.

 I'd like to downgrade this bug with the note that maybe the problem that
 was seen was related to the journal not fully mounting a filesystem. Also
 moving it into 8.2.1.
