I was just browsing the revised laptop.org web site. It has been
 extensively updated.

However there is at least one page that is __way__ out of date.
 http://laptop.org/en/laptop/software/specs.shtml 'Laptop Software Specs'
reflects a pre-release state of the world.

 Some quotes:

"We are using components from Red Hat's Fedora Core 6 version of the Linux
operating system; we are tracking the main kernel fairly closely." (8.2 is
based on Fedora 9, and I believe that 'core' is an obsolete term.)

"We will support five programming environments on the laptop: ... (5)
Logo." (Only available Logo is a not terribly well integrated port of UCB,
 and is not core.)

"Applications will include ... an RSS reader" (I don't think this is
current core, and is a seeming orphan.)
