 Ricardo,
   It is not so simple (at least in builds before 704).   Take a look at
 the tests listed earlier, and you will see that some number of laptops
 that failed to connect to a server formed a simple mesh.  Others failed to
 start the simple mesh after looking for a previously seen AP.   They had
 all previously been associated with an AP, and had an entry in
 networks.cfg.   This is not consistent, but appears to be a race condition
 in NM that is sometimes triggered.
