 This is not my call to make, but I believe that the priority here should
 not be what takes less time to accomplish, but what approach is more sound
 in terms of performance and extensibility. At this point, the choice of
 making cerebro work salut must be justified in the above terms. Also, it
 may be worth the exercise of going through the process of creating (and
 documenting along the way) a connection manager, as this knowhow is non-
 existent outside collabora and it is in collabora's own interest that
 people understand and transparently use the telepathy stack. Abstraction
 and generalization is great, but its value is lost if only collabora knows
 how to do it.
