 One clue: After dragging a photo onto the frame and waiting a long time (1
 minute?) then I see the photo again moving away from the frame and
 disappearing. This is the kind of effect that happens when I drag but I
 wasn't touching the keyboard. It happen "automatically" or something.
 Immediately after this effect, I was able to add another photo to the
 frame.
