Comment:

 Confirm in update 1 build 695, on G1G1 hardware.

 In the record activity, starting a video record normally takes 1-2
 seconds, but it takes 10-12 seconds AFTER a suspend/resume.  It does not
 matter whether the record activity is active during the suspend/resume
 cycle.

 (I didn't test the command line app mentioned in the original post.)
