I checked in the mediawiki channel about the constant "out of memory"
errors we are getting, which are related to something deeper than a
temporary loss of memory (if that is the right error at all).

_sj_: it's possible you have some really big thing in the job queue,
and the dying part is one of those, trying to run on save.... i'm not
sure offhand if that's something that should actually happen though :)

Experiment shows the out of memory errors happen to certain page
titles, regardless of content or page ID (if you move the page to
something new, and move a different page to that page title, the one
with the title always gets the error).
