#7331: user study to determine merits of "freeform" homepage layout

There is some question as to whether the freeform (random) layout for the
home page designed for Update 2 is going to work well in the field. It is
not clear, for example, that it will be easy for a teacher to describe how
to launch an activity in a group setting, or that the support gang will be
able to readily describe to a user where to find an activity, etc.

A simple user study could tell us a lot. It could look at how long it
takes to find and launch a succession of activities and how many words are
needed to describe the location of an activity on the screen.

(Not that this is somewhat orthogonal to whether or not one allows users
to customize the position of icons on the home screen.)
