 Thanks for this bug report.

 The problem is triggered when A shares the chat, B joins and says
 something, B leaves, and C joins. C was then seeing A and B's messages
 come through due to ListPendingMessages, but C couldn't resolve B's
 telepathy handle back to a Buddy identity.

 I've removed ListPendingMessages for the shared activity chat (but kept it
 for the 1-1 chat) which fixes the problem, and also I had reports of
 people not liking the ability to see what people said before you joined.

 This will be fixed in the next Chat release.
