 Additional info: instead of the firmware Q2E11 that came with the Joyride
 2200, the leftover firmware Q2D16 was still there.

 After rebooting the laptop, the right firmware (Q2E11) apppeared to be
 installed. After downloading activities, only a Log Viewer activity was in
 the "never ending installation" state. The similar behavior was observed
 with another laptop, though in that case firmware was re-flashed properly
 the first time.

 Couldn't generate the log: the command olpc-netlog is absent.
