 Looking at my EC logs the EC is processing the commands.  Perhaps there is
 still some sort of race in the way we deal with the IBF and OBF flags.  I
 need to study the way the kernel looks and the flags and then think about
 how the EC clears them.

 Please try my latest firmware:

 This has my fastpath EC command code in it and may give us some different
 results.  If its some sort of set/clear race before the kernel every gets
 change to see the flag then this code may make it worse since in the
 simple case this code will process the command in a single pass of the EC
 processing loop.
