Comment:

 Took 2 laptops home (supposedly radio-quiet environment), didn't have any
 problem transferring a full 2-minutes-long video file between laptops.
 Looks like the trouble tranferring video files observed at 1CC is probably
 radio environment related.

 I will close the ticket.
