New description:

 Experimental XO with the C3 motherboard given to me by Wad.
 SHF80701831, Q2E11, update.1 708.

 After rebooting the XO, networking stopped working completely. Related
 lights were not lit. After a couple of other reboots, the behavior was the
 same, then, after another reboot, networking started working properly.

 Richard Smith believes it's a kernel problem. The log file (collected when
 the networking didn't work) is attached.
