 I think the key issue (and it has been something I've been striving to
 solve for a long time) is that they need the ability to delete pre-
 installed activities.  This is why deletion from the activity list was the
 original design, and why I still think it's the right course.

 Actually, a recent thought popped into my head which convinces me we
 should be able to delete the bundle (in the Journal) and the installed
 activity at the same time.  Once we have the new Journal, the action which
 says "you downloaded/installed activity X" will remain even when the
 activity bundle itself is gone.  We also spec (or should) that activities
 provided a download/update URL in their .info file.  If we are sure to
 attach that URL to the metadata for the entry, they can always click on
 the "empty" entry in the Journal to automatically recover the once deleted
 activity directly.

 I think we could fairly easily add an erase button to the list view, or at
 least add an erase item to the list of options in the palette for
 activities in Home.
