Comment:

 I'm very dubious about the claim that /etc/olpc-security affects this; I'm
 inclined to suspect it was just a coincidence.

 Can you reproduce with the current libertas driver, and show kernel
 messages while it's failing, after {{{ echo 0x6184 >
 /sys/module/libertas/parameters/libertas_debug }}}
