That doesn't prove what you said though -- that could demonstrate any
number of things, including the possibility that whoever wrote that web
page is just incompetent or corrupt.

I don't disagree that we need to support 802.1x. I was taking issue with
your claim that it is _required_ by law. I have seen no real believable
evidence to that effect.
I've seen far too many blatantly false claims that something is 'required
by Sarbanes-Oxley' to take any such claim about legal requirements
seriously -- hence the recommendation that you do not repeat that part
unless you _know_ it to be true.
