 I have a similar problem but unfortunately i don't have the low-level
 access needed to set the _SUGAR_BUNDLE_ID property.
 I'm trying to sugarize a XULRunner application. I'm observing exactly the
 same symptoms as described in this ticket. When I start the app via the
 icon I see my own icon and a few seconds later the grey ball for the
 xulrunner app. But as I'm at the mercy of my host application (xulrunner)
 I don't really have a way to register my window with sugar.

 Ideas ?
