There should be ways in as many programs as possible to take and/or map
input from the sensor/audio port and use it as a control. Especially the
music programs and programming activities. I would add that the mic and
maybe camera should be able to be used as inputs as well. Mic could be
volume ( would pitch be doable?). Camera could just be level of activity
in the picture, but I don't know if the computer is fast enough to be
processing this kind of thing.
Activities that have input possibilities should have some standard hover
icon for input. It might make more sense for a kid to understand inputs
in the context of a music program, but to then see that same icon in a
programming activity would make them think twice and wonder what they
could do with that.

better place)
