 The UUID is now printed as part of the diagnostics in Q2D09, when dumping
 the manufacturing data.  It's the line that begins "U#".  This comes out
 second (after the battery info) as soon as the laptop is powered up with
 the rocker held to the left.  So I think this is fixed.

 The interface to see the UUID would be greatly improved if there was a way
 to stop the scrolling of the screen without holding down the rotate key.
 The result is that you can see the UUID on the screen, but you have to
 dedicate an entire hand to keeping OFW from scrolling it away before you
 can type it on a second computer, or write it down!
