 Ran record on u1 at CIC today and could not help but notice that it takes
 a *long* time for the camera to come up and then even longer for the
 microphone LED to come up.

 Same laptop, run a few blocks down the street can fire up record lickity-
 split.

 Can create gstreamer pipelines to show the same slow behavior.

 Not sure who to file this to...  but given the popularity of the camera in
 environments with lots of kids with xos, this might need to be addressed.
