During startup, if /home/olpc directory is missing, Update.1 (build 680)
goes into a infinite rebooting loop. Also Unable to load Sugar.

Workaround, during bootup Ctrl-Alt-F1 will show console window, able to
login as root. If screen fills with error messages, hit C-A-F1 again. Type
'init 3' to stop messages and rebooting process. Then fix problem by
 restoring the /home/olpc directory.

Possible solution, check for existence of /home/olpc before writing or
reading configuration files. Restore to default settings at 1st boot.

 (reproducible)
